Kirkburton have been playing both competitive and non-competitive badminton for many years.

We are one of the larger clubs in the league, and have a total of 4 teams in the Huddersfield league:
Ladies team (Division 1)
Mens team (Division 1)
A team (Division 1)
B team (Division 2)

Fixtures are posted on sportsganiser website.

We also encourage the younger generation to come down and play friendly and competitive games. We have social events held regularly throughout the year.

We run through the conventional season from September through to Easter, this year starting Wednesday 6th September.

We have members of all age ranges, ranging from 13 to 85, so don't be afraid to come down and give it a go!

Match nights Thursdays at
King James' High School 7-9:30pm

It's not all just about Badminton at Kirkburton, after club night we are often found in the pub for a well deserved drink, also, we host socials and family friendly events. Check out our Event page for more information and we will see you there!

The following subscriptions for 2023/24 season: 
❇️ Full Adult membership ➡️ £130
🔯 Student membership ➡️ £95 (in full time education)
🔸 U16s ➡️ £65 (playing club nights only)
 
The above subscriptions entitle you to represent the club in matches & club nights (club nights run from September to Easter excluding school holidays)
 
🔲 Match fees ➡️ £5 (for all members)
🔹 Visitor fees ➡️ £7 (for all ages)

Kirkburton Badminton Club nights include 4 badminton courts. We use professional feather shuttlecocks and nets, all you need to bring is yourself with appropriate footwear and a racket.

It doesn't matter if you are new to the sport or just coming back from the Commonwealth Games, everyone is welcome here at Kirkburton Badminton Club.
