Promotion in the Barnsley League!

Congratulations to our Barnsley A and B teams who have both been promoted from their divisions.

The A team have been promoted to Division 1 having won Division 2 with an unbeaten season and one of the most dominant performances ever seen in the Barnsley & District Badminton League. They dropped only 2 rubbers all season (when they had subs from the B team!), an exceptional performance from all involved.

All 3 pairings are the joint 'top pair' in the division having won all their games. Muddassar is the top scoring individual in the division on points.

The B team have been promoted to Division 2 having finished runners up in Division 3. It has been a great season for the B team with some new and some old partnerships, and we are looking forward to seeing what they acheive from the step up next season.
